Interventional Radiology Nurse

HCA Capital Division is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse RN to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse RN with a strong background in critical care and radiology nursing. Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in the Interventional Radiology department, including preparation, sedation, and recovery.
- Assess and intervene as needed to maintain patient physiological homeostasis.
- Administer conscious sedation/analgesia and other medications as necessary.
- Perform sterile technique skills as needed for minor cases.
- Coordinate scheduling and transportation of patients with other departments and bed control.
- Provide patient education pre- and post-procedure.
- Document patient information in accordance with JCAHO criteria and nursing standards.
- Minimum three years experience as a registered nurse.
- Preferred one-year critical care experience or strong ER experience.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Nursing.
- Current Nursing registration with the State of Virginia or compact license.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
