Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the Endo GI Technician include:

  • Preparing and sterilizing surgical rooms and equipment in accordance with established protocols.
  • Assisting physicians and registered nurses during endoscopic procedures as required.
  • Conducting equipment functionality checks and ensuring safety standards are met.
  • Maintaining and performing repairs on endoscopic instruments.
  • Handling and transporting specimens collected during procedures while maintaining sterility.
  • Facilitating patient intake, transport, and documentation of physician observations as needed.
  • Applying monitoring devices for vital signs, including blood pressure cuffs and pulse oximeters.
  • Providing information about equipment during training sessions.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development through in-service training.
  • Carrying out additional related tasks as assigned.

Compensation: Salary will be determined based on experience.
