The primary responsibilities of the Endo GI Technician include:
- Preparing and sterilizing surgical rooms and equipment in accordance with established protocols.
- Assisting physicians and registered nurses during endoscopic procedures as required.
- Conducting equipment functionality checks and ensuring safety standards are met.
- Maintaining and performing repairs on endoscopic instruments.
- Handling and transporting specimens collected during procedures while maintaining sterility.
- Facilitating patient intake, transport, and documentation of physician observations as needed.
- Applying monitoring devices for vital signs, including blood pressure cuffs and pulse oximeters.
- Providing information about equipment during training sessions.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development through in-service training.
- Carrying out additional related tasks as assigned.
Compensation: Salary will be determined based on experience.
