Job Summary

Keller Inc., a 100% employee-owned Design/Build General Contractor, seeks a skilled Carpentry Foreman to lead our construction team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of rough and finish carpentry on commercial and agricultural projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and work with crew members to ensure timely completion of carpentry tasks
  • Frame interior walls, install trim and door frames, hang doors, and bath partitions
  • Supervise 1-4 crew members in daily duties, ensuring proper staffing, materials, and equipment are on site
  • Collaborate with project team to manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling and quality control
  • Work with subcontractors to coordinate schedules and work areas
  • Monitor quality control and safety standards for Keller employees and subcontractors
  • Communicate job progress, problems, and solutions to the Supervisor
  • Complete daily paperwork, including reports, timecards, and quality control sheets
  • Assist with training crew members and promote a culture of ownership and detailed workmanship
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of construction experience, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Leadership and supervisory skills, with a willingness to travel within the state of WI
  • Ability to lift heavy objects regularly and work outdoors in variable weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate hand/power tools and equipment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
