Keller Inc., a 100% employee-owned Design/Build General Contractor, seeks a skilled Carpentry Foreman to lead our construction team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of rough and finish carpentry on commercial and agricultural projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and work with crew members to ensure timely completion of carpentry tasks
- Frame interior walls, install trim and door frames, hang doors, and bath partitions
- Supervise 1-4 crew members in daily duties, ensuring proper staffing, materials, and equipment are on site
- Collaborate with project team to manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling and quality control
- Work with subcontractors to coordinate schedules and work areas
- Monitor quality control and safety standards for Keller employees and subcontractors
- Communicate job progress, problems, and solutions to the Supervisor
- Complete daily paperwork, including reports, timecards, and quality control sheets
- Assist with training crew members and promote a culture of ownership and detailed workmanship
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience, preferably in a supervisory role
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Leadership and supervisory skills, with a willingness to travel within the state of WI
- Ability to lift heavy objects regularly and work outdoors in variable weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate hand/power tools and equipment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
