About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Consultant to join our team at Terracon. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and services on geotechnical and pavement evaluations, design, and construction.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on transportation projects and clients, applying your knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality results. You will have the chance to work closely with senior-level project managers, gain additional project management experience, and develop your expertise in pavement maintenance, rehabilitation, and recycling topics.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct field geotechnical and pavement evaluations, and perform engineering analysis and calculations;
  • Prepare proposals and cost estimates, track and evaluate project progress, budgets, and recommend changes;
  • Apply sound engineering principles to communicate complex engineering issues and concepts to technical and non-technical clients and project teams;
  • Serve as a technical adviser to junior-level project team members and supervise graduate, field, and project engineering staff.
