Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Specialist to join our team. As a Patient Access Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our revenue cycle management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital, ensuring accurate and timely completion of medical necessity and compliance checks.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Operate the telephone switchboard, relaying incoming, outgoing, and inter-office calls as applicable, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Utilize quality auditing and reporting systems to ensure accurate and timely correction of accounts, providing statistical data to Patient Access leadership.
- Pre-register patient accounts prior to visits, collecting demographic, insurance, and other patient information, including point of service collections and past due balances.
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- High School Diploma/GED required
- CRCR certification required within 6 months of hire (Company Paid)
