Head Waiter

At Royal Caribbean Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Waiter to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant staff, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
• Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
• Provide coaching and guidance to restaurant staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Minimum of 5-8 years of hospitality management experience, preferably in a shipboard environment.
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Superior customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and cost control.
• Intermediate computer software skills, including proficiency in point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

• Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly, and cordially with guests.
• Ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures.
• Ability to speak additional languages, such as Spanish, French, or German, is preferred.

• Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and move freely in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, as needed.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with frequent changes in priorities and deadlines.
