Sales Associate Key Part Time

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate Key Part Time to join our team at Talbots. As a Sales Associate Key Part Time, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Provide an exceptional customer experience by offering personalized service, product knowledge, and fashion expertise.
- Build relationships with customers by understanding their needs, preferences, and shopping habits.
- Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products, and by creating a selling culture that encourages associates to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Work collaboratively with the management team to achieve business objectives, including sales, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Talbots' products, including fit, color, fashion, and trends.
- Stay up-to-date on fashion trends, product knowledge, and sales strategies to provide customers with expert advice and recommendations.
- Participate in learning opportunities, accept direction, coaching, and feedback to continuously improve performance and achieve sales and service metrics.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in a fashion or apparel industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Comfortable climbing ladders, moving around regularly, and standing for extended periods of time.
- Able to bend, reach, stretch for product, and lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
- Possess the technological aptitude to navigate POS/computer/iPad/handheld systems.
- Have open availability of up to and including 29 hours per week.
