We're seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer Intern to join our team at PlayStation Global. As a key member of our SDK team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining CPU compilers and related tools for our PlayStation SDK.

As a Software Development Engineer Intern, you'll collaborate closely with our SDK teams, system software teams, and game partners worldwide to gain valuable industry experience and develop your skills in compiler development, programming languages, and code optimization.

We're looking for a candidate with a strong background in Computer Science or a related field, with a focus on compilers, programming languages, and code optimization. You'll need to have a solid understanding of C and C++ programming languages, as well as experience with the LLVM compiler project.

As a Software Development Engineer Intern, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including developing and maintaining CPU compilers and related tools, and collaborating with our SDK teams to ensure the smooth operation of our PlayStation SDK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain CPU compilers and related tools for our PlayStation SDK

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of compiler development, programming languages, and code optimization
  • Work closely with our SDK teams to ensure the smooth operation of our PlayStation SDK

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong background in compilers, programming languages, and code optimization
  • Experience with the LLVM compiler project
  • Strong knowledge of C and C++ programming languages
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
