Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee all production and maintenance functions at our Ennis Roofing plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and profitable manufacturing operations, managing budgets, and providing leadership in safety, quality, and cost reduction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage production and maintenance processes to optimize efficiency and productivity
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to minimize downtime and meet production targets
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as needed
  • Collaborate with maintenance and quality assurance teams to ensure equipment reliability and product quality
  • Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to manage inventory levels and minimize carrying costs
  • Lead regular meetings with production teams to communicate goals and performance metrics
  • Develop and manage operational budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 6-8 years of manufacturing experience in a management capacity
  • Strong working knowledge of product structure, manufacturing processes, and quality standards
  • Proficiency in Six Sigma, TPM, and Lean Manufacturing concepts
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
