Neuro Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Intensive Care Unit team at Ascension Seton Northwest. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide direct nursing care to patients with complex neurological conditions, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring timely and effective interventions to address patient needs.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to healthcare team members, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines, facilitating well-coordinated patient care and ensuring timely discharge planning.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, ensuring accurate and timely execution of care plans.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred, American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BSN preferred.
- 1 year ICU experience preferred.
