Adtalem Global Education is seeking a highly motivated and organized Clinical Coordination Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Coordination Specialist, you will play a critical role in coordinating student clinical experiences and building relationships with healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Maintain Clinical Partnerships: Research, manage, and maintain relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and other clinical agency sites for nursing students to complete clinical rotations.
- Coordinate Clinical Affiliations: Provide oversight for clinical affiliation agreements, attaining contract signatures and assisting in developing, renewing, and/or terminating contracts between Adtalem Global Education and clinical sites.
- Manage Clinical Site Relationships: Manage relationships with existing clinical agency partners to ensure student and clinical site satisfaction, as well as successful clinical experiences for nursing students.
- Serve as Clinical Liaison: Serve as the first point of contact for clinical faculty, students, and clinical partners regarding clinical experiences, escalating concerns to campus leadership as applicable.
- Attend Healthcare-Related Events: Coordinate and attend healthcare-related events, including the Clinical Partner Summit, consortium meetings, and other related activities at the direction of campus and national leaders.
- Maintain Knowledge of Curriculum and Programs: Maintain knowledge and understanding of Adtalem Global Education's curriculum and programs, clearly articulating to stakeholders.
- Participate in Academic Planning: Participate in academic planning and scheduling for students, monitoring current inventory and securing adequate clinical placement inventory.
- Complete Work in a Timely Manner: Complete work in a timely manner, including preparing, documenting, and tracking clinical assignments, and completing data entry into Adtalem Global Education's systems of record.
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Business Development and Relationship Management Experience: 3 years of successful demonstration of business development and/or relationship management experience.
- Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking Skills: Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication, and Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Preferred Knowledge of Healthcare Field: Preferred knowledge of or experience working in the healthcare field.
