Job Summary:

C.N. Wood Co., Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Rental Coordinator to join our team in Woburn, MA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for executing rental order generation, fulfillment, and return processes for multiple branches to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities:

* Implement efficient processes for rental order generation, fulfillment, and return, working closely with sales/rental representatives, sales/rental management, transportation services, and service branch managers.

* Coordinate rental fleet repair and maintenance needs to ensure maximum equipment availability.

* Provide exceptional customer service, accommodating phone and walk-in internal/external customers to generate rental orders in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner.

* Manage rental contract generation, fulfillment, and return within company compliance, insurance, and credit guidelines.

* Recover freight, fuel, and damage repair expenses to meet or exceed company goals.

* Ensure accurate inventory records, review assigned branch demand, and provide recommendations for equipment needs and identify surplus equipment.

* Coordinate repair and maintenance needs with the service department and ensure maximum equipment availability.

* Monitor rental-related WIP to ensure proper coding and content.

* Coordinate trucking arrangements to and from customers as well as between C.N. Wood store locations.

Organizational Responsibilities and/or Secondary Responsibilities:

* Cooperate with employees of other departments and other branches.

* Accountable to the Equipment Manager for proper interpretation and fulfillment of responsibilities.

* Provide exceptional support to the sales team.

Qualifications/Experience/Attributes:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, some college or technical training preferred.

* Knowledge or background in heavy hauling, load planning, or other transportation-related topics (3 years preferred).

* Knowledge of construction equipment.

* Customer service background.

* Ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with customers, sales representatives, fellow employees, and management, including interaction with other company branches.

* Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

* Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
