Job Summary

PureGreen Land Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Spray Technician to provide exceptional commercial landscape maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have experience applying fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides on turf, flowers, and plant material.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides to turf according to schedule and manufacturer instructions.
  • Apply fertilizers and pesticides to flowers and plant material as needed, ensuring accurate application rates.
  • Calibrate equipment and adjust application rates according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Follow established safety procedures and practices at all times, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of chemical applications and inventory of chemicals and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with the Crew Foreman and team members to ensure efficient and effective work completion.
  • Be responsive to customer needs and requests, representing PureGreen Land Group in a professional manner.
  • Participate in training sessions and ongoing professional development to improve knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a Spray Technician in the commercial landscaping industry or a similar field, OR 2-3 years of experience as a Crew Foreman.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the shop.
  • Willingness to study and learn about new chemicals and applications as needed.
  • Ability to calibrate and operate spray equipment and accurately apply chemicals.
  • Hard working and eager to learn and grow, with a strong work ethic and dependability.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and customer service skills.
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor, including bending, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
