Job Summary

HealthMark Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at our Gulf Pointe Plaza facility in Rockport, Texas. As a Part-time/PRN Occupational Therapist, you will provide high-quality therapy services to residents and short-term patients in a geriatric rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide skilled interventions and treatments to improve patient function and mobility.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment, adhering to infection prevention protocols.
Requirements
  • Current Texas license/certification for Occupational Therapy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Experience in a geriatric rehabilitation setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Successful completion of the hiring process and background check.
