Key Responsibilities

As a Biomedical Technician at Actalent, you will be responsible for:

  • Entering segmentation request data into our database with precision and accuracy.
  • Reviewing CT scans for conformity to required protocols, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Segmenting CT scan data using specialized software to create 3D anatomical bone models, driving innovation in medical imaging.
  • Creating pre-operative surgical plans for robotically assisted total hip and total knee arthroplasty, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Reviewing CT segmentations and surgical plans for accuracy, ensuring anatomical landmark selection, implant sizing, and positioning meet the highest standards.
  • Uploading completed pre-plans to field-based personnel, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Documenting all activities according to prescribed methods and procedures, maintaining a high level of transparency and accountability.
  • Following work instructions exactly to deliver consistent output, upholding the highest standards of quality and excellence.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A BS degree in sciences or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in medical imaging and biotechnology.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in specialized software and databases.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
