Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. As a Cardiac Medical Unit Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiac and respiratory conditions, as well as general medical patients.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Kentucky or compact license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Experience working in a medical-surgical unit, preferably with cardiac patients.
  • Ability to work a 3x12HR night shift schedule.
