Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Food and Beverage Team Member at Nickelodeon Universe within the Mall of America. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a high-quality experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests, adhering to our high standards for quality and presentation.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash transactions and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, responding to changing guest needs and priorities.
Requirements
  • Age: Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Customer Service Skills: Possess excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to work with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Math Skills: Demonstrate basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling.
  • Availability: Be available to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Experience: Prior experience in food service, customer service, or a related field is an asset.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with point-of-sale systems is preferred.
Physical Demands
  • Standing and Moving: Spend most of the time standing and moving around the food court.
  • Repetitive Motion: Engage in repetitive motion tasks, such as keyboard usage.
  • Kneeling and Bending: Occasionally kneel or bend to perform tasks.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Lift and carry objects up to 10 pounds occasionally and up to 30 pounds infrequently.
