Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bakery Team Member to join our team at King Soopers. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality bakery products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and package bakery products according to company standards and recipes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the bakery area and surrounding spaces.
  • Operate bakery equipment, such as mixers, ovens, and slicers, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including ordering and stocking of ingredients and supplies.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales and profit goals, and to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge in areas such as customer service, food safety, and product preparation.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Basic math skills and ability to accurately handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Food safety certification and ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
