Bottling Line Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bottling Line Operator to join our team at St. Julian, a premier winery in Michigan. As a Bottling Line Operator, you will play a critical role in crafting our renowned products, ensuring top-notch quality control, and collaborating with colleagues to exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate bottling line equipment with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality products.
  • Assist with setup and cleanup of bottling line equipment, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Package a diverse range of juices and wines, adhering to rigorous QA/QC standards.
  • Learn, perform, and maintain bottling line equipment, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and procedures.
  • Foster a safe and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.
  • Adhere to sanitation protocols and regulatory guidelines, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, providing valuable insights for process improvements.
  • Support grape processing during harvest season, contributing to the success of our winemaking operations.
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and engage in physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong team player with a commitment to hard work and a positive attitude.
  • Flexibility for overtime and weekend shifts during grape harvest.
  • Presentable demeanor and customer-friendly attitude for tour groups.
  • Eagerness to excel and a passion for continuous learning.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Food Safety Fundamentals and industry regulations.
