The School-Based Behavioral Specialist at SESI Schools plays a vital part in supporting students' prosocial behaviors and implementing positive behavioral interventions and supports. This role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students who require additional educational and positive behavioral support.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing effective, positive behavioral supports that increase students' appropriate behaviors and enable them to access the curriculum more effectively. They will also support all staff by implementing effective behavioral and academic supports, assist staff and leadership in supporting students who display challenging behaviors, and provide direction and leadership during arrival and dismissal processes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need education or experience equivalent to an Associate's degree in education, criminal justice, social services, or a related field. Experience working in a school setting is preferred. Specialized Education Services, Inc.
