Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct system commissioning utilizing Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical, electrical, and control issues within HVAC systems.

How You Will Execute Your Role:

  • Load software for system-level controllers and perform basic commissioning and diagnostics from controllers to end devices (sensors, actuators, etc.), ensuring all documentation is completed.
  • Maintain communication with management and relevant contractors or customers regarding job progress and challenges.
  • Calibrate systems using basic electronic testing equipment.
  • Complete necessary administrative tasks, including time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
  • Document changes and provide information for as-built documentation.
  • Engage with contractors or customers upon arrival and prior to departure from the work site.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and participate in required safety training, prioritizing the safety of yourself and subcontractors.

Qualifications We Seek:

Essential:

  • Proven technical aptitude.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and listening abilities.

Preferred:

  • One year of experience in HVAC controls and/or mechanical systems installation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC systems.
