CareMedication Technician

We are seeking a skilled Care/Medication Technician to join our team at Discovery Village at The Forum - AL. As a Care/Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in providing hands-on care and support to our residents, ensuring their safety and comfort in a home-like environment.

• Provide physical and emotional support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medications and treatments to residents, following established protocols and procedures.
• Monitor and document resident symptoms and conditions, reporting any changes to supervisors or healthcare coordinators.
• Respond to resident call bells and security system alerts promptly.
• Assist with continence management and maintain cleanliness of resident suites and community restrooms.
• Prepare and serve food trays, and assist with meal service as needed.
• Participate in life enrichment activities and engage residents in meaningful interactions.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.

• Current Med Tech Certification
• Certified Nurse's Aid certification preferred
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• CPR Certification preferred
• First Aid Certification preferred
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
