Roll-Off Truck Operator

Pasquotank County is seeking a reliable and skilled Roll-Off Truck Driver to transport waste and recyclables throughout the county. As a key member of our Solid Waste team, you will be responsible for operating heavy motorized vehicles and performing daily driving tasks.
About the JobThe successful candidate will have a Class B CDL license and significant experience driving heavy motorized vehicles. You will be responsible for hooking up loaded roll-off dumpsters and hauling them to designated locations, as well as performing routine preventive maintenance on motor vehicles and equipment.
In addition to driving duties, you will also be required to inspect trucks and roll-off containers before hauling, and check containers to ensure they are properly strapped.
Job Requirements- Class B CDL license
- At least 2-5 years of experience driving heavy motorized vehicles
- Ability to perform minimum maintenance on trucks
