Job Summary

The Material Handling Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing material handling systems in various industrial environments. This role requires a deep understanding of material flow, equipment selection, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement material handling systems that meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Analyze existing material handling processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Design and develop layout designs and technical drawings using CAD software.
  • Coordinate equipment procurement and installation activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in material handling.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in material handling engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • PE License (Preferred).
  • Proficiency in CAD software and material handling simulation tools (Preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
