About the Role

Solaris HealthCare Zephyrhills is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in providing top-quality care to our residents, helping them to achieve their full potential and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed physical therapists in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans
  • Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to identify areas of improvement
  • Administer physical therapy treatments, such as exercises and modalities, to patients
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment plans
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant program
  • Licensure to practice as a physical therapist assistant in the state of Florida
  • Previous experience in physical therapy, preferred
  • Membership in state and national American Physical Therapy Association, preferred
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Strong administrative and public relations skills
  • Thorough knowledge of physical therapy principles, methods, and equipment
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and healthcare team members
