Penn Highlands Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated medical oncologist to enhance our established practice in DuBois, PA. Our health system is recognized for its innovative approach to hematology and oncology, providing a comprehensive range of services including a specialized breast service line, a state-of-the-art GI lab, interventional radiology, PET/CT imaging, and advanced cardiovascular and thoracic surgical options. Additionally, we proudly operate The Lung Center, acknowledged as a Center of Excellence by the Lung Cancer Alliance and UPMC for Lung Cancer Screening.
Position Overview:
- Collaborative environment featuring a team of 4 hematology-oncology physicians alongside 7 advanced practice providers, committed to delivering exceptional, multidisciplinary patient care.
- Responsibilities will include working at both a new site location and the Hahne Regional Cancer Center at Penn Highlands DuBois.
- Services offered encompass immunotherapy, solid tumor management, chemotherapy, and treatment for blood cancers.
- Support staff includes an onsite RN supervisor and oncology-certified or eligible registered nurses.
- Shared call coverage will be coordinated with the physician group.
