Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, to residents in a safe and respectful manner.
- Administer medications as directed by the resident's care plan.
- Assist residents with daily activities, such as feeding, toileting, and ambulation.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Provide companionship and stimulation to residents through activities such as reading, walks, and other approved activities.
- Accompany residents to approved community activities.
- Document resident care information and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Age 16 or older.
- Completed Personal Care Worker training preferred.
- Previous experience in a caregiver role preferred.
- Must successfully pass a criminal and caregiver background check.
This role requires moderate to heavy physical work, including lifting up to 75 pounds and frequent standing, speaking, and hearing. The work environment is primarily in a healthcare setting, with occasional exposure to bloodborne pathogens and the need to wear personal protective equipment.
