Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices in nursing care.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing or successful completion of an accredited Registered Nurse Program.
  • Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
  • BLS Certification.
  • ACLS, PALS, NHISS, BAC certifications (as required by the facility).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an acute care and non-acute care facility.
  • Knowledge of hospital policies, quality assurance programs, and nursing practice acts.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
