Overview:
Geisinger Health System is seeking a dedicated physician to enhance our Nutrition and Weight Management Department. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional, patient-focused care at our regional medical center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, advanced practitioners, and nutrition specialists.
- Provide high-quality medical care to patients, focusing on nutrition and bariatric treatment options.
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to a culture of learning and innovation within the department.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) is required.
- Valid Medical Doctor license in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Candidates should possess training in Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics with a focus on nutrition and/or bariatric medicine.
