Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate Degree is preferred. Completion of an ARRT-approved Radiography Program or an ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program is mandatory.
- Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in CT is preferred.
- Licensure/Certification:
- For NH Medical Center: Certification and registration by ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at the time of hire. Certification and registration by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) within six months of hire is required.
- For NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department: Certification and registration by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) is required.
- For NH Medical Group Office: Certification and registration by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) is required.
- IV Credentialing is required.
- Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirements, which are mandatory.
- Possession of applicable state license is required.
- Additional Skills (required): Strong analytical skills, basic computer proficiency, effective communication abilities, adaptability to patient age-related procedures, and the capability to interpret information to identify each patient's care requirements based on their age-specific needs. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures and operating CT equipment.
