Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at the New York State Gov. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wash and clean floors, corridors, stairs, and stairwells, walls, partitions, and windows
  • Strip and wax floors, vacuum and shampoo carpets, and dust assigned areas
  • Replace light bulbs and dust or wash fixtures and high places
  • Operate mops, brushes, detergents, buffers, floor scrubbers, and other cleaning equipment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
