Job Title: Traveling Labor and Delivery Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery RN to join our team of traveling healthcare professionals. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Job Description:
  • Assess, implement, and evaluate total nursing care and functions in accordance with established philosophy.
  • Provide and direct patient care for a group of patients, relating effectively with other shifts and departments for optimal continuity of care.
  • Provide clinical supervision for entry-level nurses and assist in their development.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Exhibits major team player qualities.
  • Willingness to assist others when needed.
  • Maintain a positive attitude toward work and others.
  • Perform routine duties independent of supervision but consults with others as required.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the nursing plan of care.
  • Manage both emotional and physical patients.
  • Assess patient and family level of understanding to provide effective communication and education.
  • Work collaboratively with medical staff.
  • Provide quality care in a compassionate and professional manner.
