The Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in supporting manufacturing operations by implementing a preventative maintenance strategy that aligns with our ISO 9001 Quality Management System standards.
This position involves working alongside both internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of machinery.
Additionally, this role will engage with various departments to identify opportunities for enhancing equipment and processes.
*This is a 2nd shift position: 2:00pm - 10:30pm
- Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment
Diagnose and implement lasting solutions for recurring equipment challenges.
Conduct monthly evaluations of safety equipment, including eye wash stations and fire extinguishers, along with housekeeping assessments.
Responsible for ordering machine components and tools as necessary.
Maintain and repair the facility's infrastructure, including plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC.
Key responsibilities include:
- Electrical systems management, including lighting and circuits
- Water supply and drainage systems
- Pneumatic air supply, including compressors
- Material handling equipment, such as forklifts
- Office furniture and partition systems
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience with HVAC systems
- Ability to perform pipefitting on water, gas, and pneumatic systems
- Capability to install new plant equipment, including electrical and rigging tasks
- Proficient in using power and hand tools for mechanical installations
- Ability to wear necessary safety gear
- Skilled in troubleshooting using diagrams and blueprints for electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Capacity to work independently on various projects
