Responsibilities:

Clinical Leadership:
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes and enhance the nurse practice environment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and patient care team members to achieve quality metrics, including but not limited to: hospital-acquired conditions (HACs), team member engagement, STIs.
  • Stay current with trends and advances in assigned area of nursing practice, applying this knowledge to inform practice decisions.
  • Serve as a resource to staff nurses, providing guidance and support as needed.
Educational Development:
  • Design and deliver comprehensive orientation programs for new staff and student interns.
  • Develop and implement competency training and continuing education programs to meet staff development needs.
  • Mentor new team members, providing ongoing support and resources to ensure success.
Professional Growth:
  • Pursue opportunities for professional growth and development, staying current with best practices and industry trends.
  • Contribute to divisional and hospital shared governance infrastructure, participating in decision-making processes that impact nursing practice.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, using data-driven insights to inform practice decisions.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program-Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Three years of clinical experience.
  • Served as preceptor and/or charge RN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000-$105,000 per year, depending on experience.
