Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Wilcox Medical Center in Lihue, HI. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality rehabilitative services to patients suffering from work-related injuries.

• Provide direct occupational therapy services and consultation across the full continuum of care.
• Develop and implement customized treatment programs to help patients achieve their full potential in mobility, communication, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
• Conduct performance skills assessments and provide guidance to family members and caregivers.
• Recommend and train patients on the use of adaptive equipment to enhance their independence and quality of life.

• Current Hawai'i Occupational Therapy certification.
• Current American Heart Association Heart Saver – AED CPR card.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) Occupational Therapy certification.
• One (1) year general occupational therapy experience preferred.
