Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Physician to provide exceptional care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role involves working in both a hospital setting and an in-office clinic, focusing on cardiac electrophysiology and heart rhythm disturbances.

Contract Details:


• Contract Duration: 13 weeks


• Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, with specific in-office and telemedicine clinic days.

Work Environment:


• Support Staff: To be determined


• Patient Coverage: Full-time until a permanent provider is secured


• Daily Patient Load: Approximately 20-22 patients in the clinic


• Patient Demographics: Adult population

Department Insights:


• Cath Lab Consults: 3-4 consults per day


• Electrophysiology Cases: 4-6 cases daily, depending on case complexity

Technology and Facilities:


• EMR System: Cerner


• Hospital Capacity: 268 beds

Practice Setting:


• Hospital and In-Office Clinic

Qualifications:


• Board Certification: BC or BE required


• Licensure: Must hold an active AZ license; IMLC candidates considered


• DEA Registration: Required in AZ


• Certifications: ACLS certification required


• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a relevant field

Credentialing Timeline:


• Approximately 30 days
