About the Role
HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Direct Admission Unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the nursing care of assigned patients in the Unit to provide quality patient care.
- Provide professional nursing care, exercising independent judgment in utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate.
- Lead by example, working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with an Associates or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse is required in a hospital setting.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 60 days of hire date).
- American Heart Association BLS Certification is required.
