Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Materials Manager to lead our production planning and inventory management efforts in Beatrice, NE.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in aftermarket automotive parts and MRP experience.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing best practices in material planning and inventory management, driving operational performance, and ensuring minimal disruption to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective material planning and inventory management strategies to optimize operational performance
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of policies, procedures, and guidelines for material and production planning
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions
  • Manage and analyze inventory levels, identifying opportunities to reduce inventory and improve cash flow
  • Ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of IT systems, reviewing opportunities to standardize and streamline processes

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing facility, with a strong background in automotive/aftermarket manufacturing
  • Proven experience in leading material/production planning and inventory management teams, with expertise in automotive processes, components, and supply chain management
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, with Lean Certification, Six Sigma Greenbelt/Black Belt, and APICS Certification preferred
