We are in search of a skilled Preconstruction Manager who will take charge of the foundational planning and development phases of construction initiatives. This role necessitates close collaboration with diverse stakeholders to guarantee the effective execution of projects within set timelines and financial parameters.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Direct preconstruction activities for projects valued over $10 million.
  • Oversee multiple projects concurrently.
  • Generate precise estimates and proposals.
  • Work in partnership with both internal and external teams to ensure project success.
  • Conduct assessments of project risks and propose value engineering solutions.
  • Draft scopes of work for each trade and evaluate subcontractor bids.
  • Facilitate the subcontractor selection process and negotiate contracts.
  • Examine construction documents for potential value engineering opportunities.
  • Maintain historical data related to unit pricing and develop general conditions.
  • Foster communication and relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Support project managers in contract negotiations and modifications.
  • Provide high-level oversight of project pursuits and preconstruction activities.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, with a preference for Data Center experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Procore.
  • Capable of reading and interpreting project documentation.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, and lifting.
  • Occasional travel may be required (up to 10 days per month).
