HANWHA AEROSPACE USA LLC is seeking a skilled Aerospace Toolmaker Professional to join our team in Cheshire. As a key member of our Operations department, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining complex tools and equipment used in the development and supply of flight critical Aerospace/Defense components and assemblies.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

About the Role:

This position involves analyzing specifications, laying out material stock, setting up and operating machine tools, and applying knowledge of tool shop mathematics, metal properties, and layout, machining, and assembly procedures. You will be working closely with our Engineering and Quality teams to ensure that all tools and equipment meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

You will have the opportunity to develop specifications from general descriptions for specialty tools and draw or sketch designs or products. Additionally, you may be involved in inspecting and measuring parts to document quality requirements directly to the customer, as well as connecting wiring and hydraulic lines to install electrical and hydraulic components.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience specifically in tool making
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3+ years of trade school, vocational education, or equivalent work experience
