We are seeking a compassionate and professional RN Supervisor to join our team at Med Staff Group.
Job Summary:
The RN Supervisor will be responsible for managing individualized resident care by promoting and monitoring residents' health through the nursing process. This includes utilizing clinical resources in implementing patient care and providing rationale for patient care decisions. The RN Supervisor will also collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve all residents' problems and needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage individualized resident care by promoting and monitoring residents' health through the nursing process.
- Utilize clinical resources in implementing patient care and provide rationale for patient care decisions.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve all residents' problems and needs.
- Provide physical and psychological support to patients and their family members.
- Monitor residents' conditions and administer medication & treatments.
- Supervise assigned team members.
- Complete Frequent Observations and the Intake/Outtake Record according to established protocols.
Requirements:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of NY.
- Past experience working as an RN Supervisor in a Long Term Care Nursing Facility.
- Knowledge of EMR systems.
- BCLS, ACLS or PALS, required.
- Excellent communication skills.
