Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide exceptional speech and language therapy services to students, fostering their communication skills and contributing to their academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and regularly update parents and school staff.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights on student progress and goal setting.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • State Department of Education Professional Educator Certificate with an endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Preferably, experience working in a school setting.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:

  • Valid state SLP license.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
  • State Professional Educator Certificate in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Successful completion of a background check for eligibility to work in public schools.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
