Physician (M.D. or D.O.)

VitalCore Health Strategies, a leading provider of correctional healthcare, seeks a skilled Physician (M.D. or D.O.) to join our team at Gus Harrison Correctional Facility in Adrian, Michigan. As a Staff Physician, you will work under the supervision of the Site Medical Director and be an integral part of the medical team. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality healthcare services to our patients.

Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate and timely medical record documentation in SOAP format
Adhere to approved formulary for therapeutic regimens
Provide emergency treatment and respond to urgent or emergency situations
Support standards of medical care through adherence to existing policies and procedures
Serve as a resource to other professional or non-professional personnel

Requirements:

Must be a licensed Physician in the state of employment
Current DEA registration
Board certified and qualified by state laws/regulations to practice medicine
