Position Summary: We are currently in search of a proficient Welder to join our skilled team. This role is essential for constructing robust frameworks that support various infrastructures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in metalworking and possess a thorough understanding of safety measures associated with welding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret blueprints and accurately measure to devise layouts and procedures.
  • Choose suitable welding techniques and equipment based on project specifications.
  • Prepare components for welding in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Utilize tools to ready parts for the welding process.
  • Align and join components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Conduct repairs on machinery and components through welding techniques.
  • Examine welded structures to verify quality and adherence to standards.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained and operated safely.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in welding.
  • Knowledge of various welding equipment and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with tools such as saws and calipers.
  • A valid Driver's License is mandatory.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing setting is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of management.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • AWS Certification is an advantage.
