Tenet-AZ Region, a leading healthcare organization in the region, is seeking an experienced Biomedical Equipment Specialist to join their team.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time days position responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of medical equipment throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biomedical equipment repair and maintenance, with experience working with clinical, communications, and laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair, maintain, calibrate, and safety-test medical equipment to ensure proper function and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing to identify potential issues and prevent equipment failures
  • Provide technical support to customers and staff, including training and guidance on equipment usage and troubleshooting
  • Maintain accurate records of all repair and maintenance activities, including documentation of work performed and materials used
Requirements:
  • Three years of related experience in biomedical equipment repair and maintenance
  • Certification as a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) or equivalent
  • Advanced computer skills, including knowledge of physiological wave forms
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
