Job Overview

A leading global manufacturing firm is in search of a Cost Estimation Engineer to develop technical proposals for heat exchangers and pressure vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preliminary designs for pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
  • Determine material specifications for each designed component.
  • Calculate labor hours required for the fabrication of components, vessels, and exchangers.
  • Draft technical proposals for submission to clients.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Fundamental understanding of design principles according to ASME Sec VIII Div. 1.
  • Basic knowledge of Materials of Construction as outlined in ASME Sec. 11.
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in technical writing.
  • Consistent thought processes and work methodologies are essential.
