Nurse Practitioner

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is seeking a skilled rehabilitation nurse to join their team for a 13-week contract assignment in Lawton, Oklahoma.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Monitor and record patient condition, communicating with the care team, physician, patient, and family as needed.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluate learning needs of patients and families, providing education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
- Current state nursing license.
- Appropriate certifications as required for the specific position.
- Degree from an accredited school.
- Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies.
- Ability to communicate clearly with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
