Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement environmental, health, and safety programs that meet or exceed regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards, unsafe practices, and non-compliance, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and lead regular training programs for employees on environmental, health, and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain and be responsible for all environmental, health, and safety documentation, including accident reports and incident investigations.
  • Perform risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans and ensure proper maintenance and functioning of safety equipment.
  • Stay current on the latest environmental, health, and safety regulations, policies, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Safety Engineering, Occupational Health, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in environmental health and safety, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA standards, and environmental management systems.
