About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced physician to join our team as a PRN Admitting Physician. As a member of our team, you will have the flexibility to choose your location and schedule, making it an ideal opportunity for those seeking a part-time or PRN arrangement.

Responsibilities
  • Admit patients to skilled nursing facilities in the Scranton area and surrounding regions.
  • Work independently, visiting facilities that you choose, and managing your own schedule.
  • Collect payments on a monthly basis, with no call required.
  • Collaborate with our experienced advanced practice providers to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in monthly long-term care visits, providing comprehensive care to patients.
Requirements
  • Board eligibility or certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with healthcare professionals, colleagues, family members, and patients.
  • A team-oriented attitude, with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Adfinitas Health's core values, including Quality Care, Willingness to Do, Maintaining Personal Connections, and Teamwork.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in various EMR systems.
  • Active state license and DEA, state CSR.
