Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team as a Behavioral Support Specialist. The successful candidate will provide expert support and guidance to staff and students in implementing research-based behavior intervention strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with building and district staff to promote positive student behavior through professional development and training.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive functional assessments and behavior intervention plans.
  • Provide training and technical assistance to staff on data collection, positive behavior supports, and intervention techniques.
  • Assist case managers and psychologists in writing comprehensive functional assessments and behavior intervention plans.
  • Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with families, caregivers, and school staff to implement effective behavior strategies.
  • Monitor progress and evaluate treatment effectiveness regularly.
  • Identify behavior goals and intervention techniques using non-aversive behavior change methods.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that recommend individualized, evidence-based behavioral strategies.
Requirements
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, special education, psychology, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Expert knowledge of intervention planning and behavior change strategies.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families.

The Behavioral Support Specialist will work in a fast-paced educational environment, collaborating with staff and families to implement behavior intervention strategies.
